The YouTube group FiveAwesomeYAFans brings you their first charity project, a YA anthology book that is currently unnamed. The content of the book will be ten short stories provided by an array of authors.
Eight stories will be written by published authors, one storie will be chosen from a pool of unpublished authors, and the FiveAwesomeYAFans will contribute one short story written as a team. Each story will have an estimated word count of five thousand, bringing the book to a total of fifty thousand words.
The theme of the anthology will be 'Life Lessons'--we urge everyone to take the theme in different directions and to think outside of the box. We are looking to work with a publisher that will provide an estimated 15% of sales to the charity Kidd's Kids*, as well as an estimated 5-10% to the FiveAwesomeYAFans to assure a book event for all five members.
Once all eight published authors have been announced, an estimated time of three to five months will be provided to finish the final story. The book has not been signed to any publishing at this time.
